So it’s finally out and selling like crazy. All the gurus have been promoting it over the last week. Let’s get going with the review and see what it has to offer us:
The Package
The system consists of three ebooks which detail a complete strategy of promoting Clickbank products with AdWords. Andrew and Stevens (authors of Google Massacre and Google Magic Formula ) are big fans of AdWords because of the obvious advantages it has to offer, namely:
- Instant traffic
- Targetted traffic
- It’s a great and fast way to spit test your site’s design, headline, sales copy, price point - you name it
There is also an upsell for a monthly membership to Advanced strategies, and an unnamed bonus. We will cover these in the the second part of the review. For now, we will focus on the core product and see how different it is from Google Magic Formula.
The First Volume
This is an introductory volume which tackles some basic stuff like opening an AdWords account and get it running, AdWords Ad scheduling etc. This is what we get here:
- Overview of opening an Adwords account
- AdWords Ad scheduling
- How to chose which product to promote with PPC, based on the vendor’s sales page - the exact criteria to look for
- Other important criteria
- Best Affiliate networks
- Ad writing tips
- Tools for keyword research
The Second Volume
This volume builds up on the momentum of the first part. It covers:
- A Free Split testing Tool for your PPC campaigns performance
- Dynamic keyword insertion - this can really speed up your PPC efforts
- Ad target positioning - which position to target for in the search results
- AdWords Editor - How to use and when to use (This is basically for advanced users and beginners will not really need to use it. But it helps to know what it is capable of)
A lot of the information given in these two volumes in also there in Google Magic Formula. So, if you have already bought that one, you can safely skim these two volumes and pay more attention to the meatier, third volume.
The Final Volume
This is where it starts to get interesting. Many marketers would already be aware of the information in the first two volumes, but the third one piles up a lot of new useful info:
- Squeeze Pages: Building up your list with a squeeze page using AdWords. Some great new techniques have been detailed here which will help avoid the Google Slap that you will otherwise almost certainly get with the content-poor nature of squeeze pages. This is some great information which has not been discussed in IM circles till now (with the exception of Google Nemesis, which uses this technique with Review pages).
- Single Product Review Pages: Andrew and Stevens discuss here how to create Review pages focussed on a single product. They provide examples and also the criteria for deciding when to go for this strategy.
- Multiple Product Review Pages: This is another strategy where you review 2-3 products at the same time and provide your recommendation for one or more of them. There are many ways to do this and Andrew and Stevens give away their favorite and most optimal way to do this kind of reviews.
- Affiliate List Segmentation: This is a method to divide your prospects into separate lists based on the exact nature of the information they are seeking. This can result in sky high conversions and explode your affiliate commissions.
- Alternate Sales Page Technique: This is yet another great technique for accelerating sales when you find a high quality product to promote, which has a sub-optimal sales page. It also paves the way for creating your own, long lasting business instead of only making sales for someone else.
- AdWords Geographical Location Targeting: Most AdWords users do geographical targeting on a country level only. Here we get to see a way to use this on a state, or city level and profit from it. And yes, this can be applied to any state/city in the world.
- List Building After an Affiliate Sale: This method deals with adding people who have purchased a product from your affiliate link, to your mailing list. This is an often overlooked area and is really an easy way to build up your list with quality subscribers.
The Verdict
Now, the million dollar question - is this product worth buying? Now the first two volumes in the package are really not that great, but the third one more than makes up for it.
It contains a lot of new, actionable information that can give a real kick to your affiliate marketing efforts and help you make some serious money.
My recommendation - go for it!

P.S. - I will be posting a review of the Advanced blueprints shortly. And going by the core product, it sure promises some great reading.
